The Lucknow police consequently issued a warning on social media to refrain from spreading untrue rumors regarding the Dunki actor’s arrival in Uttar Pradesh’s capital.
For those who don’t know, Shah Rukh’s Kolkata Knight Riders are scheduled to play the Lucknow Super Giants today. The Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will host the cricket match.
“It is being reported in some social media/media that Shahrukh Khan is coming to support KKR team in today’s IPL match,” tweeted the Lucknow police on their official handle. In this regard, no such information has yet been obtained. Rumors shouldn’t be spread needlessly because doing so will result in harsh punishment for those who do so.
Shah Rukh was recently spotted at KKR IPL matches with his younger son Abram. But Lucknow police officials ended any speculation about the actor going to the IPL game on Sunday. On Sunday, April 5, the KKR vs. Lucknow Super Giants game will air at 7:30 p.m.
