Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of Embassy of India Abu Dhabi, India Social and Cultural Centre & ISC Professionals and Entrepreneurs Forum is conducting Travel and Tourism Expo 2016 at India Social and Cultural Centre, Mina Street, Abu Dhabi on 20th May and 21st May 2016.
The main sponsor for the event is the UAE based business house Dodsal Group and its owner & chairman Dr Rajen A Kilachand. They have come forward with pleasure to support this community initiative.
India and UAE has always been irresistible attraction to travelers from all over the world. Every year the visitors to both destinations are increasing in numbers and new found destinations are attracting tourists from every part of the globe.
We take the initiative as a community organization to promote bilateral tourism between India and UAE. Giving a best platform to show case the travel companies, tour operators, hotels and resorts and other tourism intermediaries to directly meet and communicate. In this event, we have exhibitors from various Indian states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal to name few, In addition, to UAE based exhibitors. Prominent Airlines like Air India and Jet Airways have confirmed their participation. Incredible India, Ayurveda Centers, Hoteliers, Tour operators and many more exhibitors are also part of it.
The exhibition hall door will be open to all nationalities and communities living in UAE. The main objective of the show is to promote India as the finest destination in terms of leisure, medical, adventure, culture and many more that India offers to visitors and also to promote UAE as a travel destination. Free offers, Raffle draws and many travel discounts are offered during the expo for visitors.

20th May 2016, Friday at 10 am; Opening Ceremony of the Expo 2016
10:30 am: Seminars
The seminar will be sub divided into several sessions and prominent professionals will be addressing the attendees.
One Session is dedicated for Ayurveda and stress Management. Speaker of the session is famous Ayurveda Specialist Dr Dinesh Kartha. Dr Kartha will speak and interact with the audience.
Other session will discuss on the bilateral tourism between India and UAE. We have identified professional speakers and the names will be announced soon.
During the day, quality stage performances are arranged to entertain the visitors.
5 pm: onwards, there will be various cultural programs at the main hall of ISC, performed by professional dance schools of UAE.
8 pm: formal function starts. This will be the high level session of the ISC-IPEF Travel & Tourism Expo 2016. VIP guests, Indian business leaders, Embassy officials and many other dignitaries are confirmed to take part in this function
This will be followed by a visual treat, performances by different communities (Indian state-wise performances) such as Bangra, Kathak, Odissi, Mohiniyattam, Chakkyarkoothu, etc. These cultural programs will continue till 11 pm.
Community food stalls will serve authentic foods of various states of India through their food outlets at subsidized rates. Visitors can enjoy the various cuisines of India. So families can come and spend their day time in Expo venue and can enjoy the entertainments.
Another major highlight of the Expo is Photography and Videography competition in connection with ISC-IPEF Travel Tourism Expo. Competitions run in 2 categories under the title “Passionate Photographs of India” for Indian Nationals and for other nationals. Photograph and Videography competition invites submission in Photographs or videos taken during their leisure or holiday trips to different parts of India. The competition is conceived and coordinated to actively encourage individuals to exhibit their talent or knowledge without inhibition. Photos and Videos submitted will be displayed through the wide LED screen in ISC Main Hall during the expo. Winners will be awarded attractive prizes during the formal session on 20th May 2016.
The exhibition outlets are open to public on 21st May 2016, Saturday till noon 1 pm.
