Dubai: The St Joseph’s Belman Bethkati Association, Dubai, held their annual picnic at Creek Park on Friday November 11.   Ivan Pereira, President of the Association welcomed the gathering and thanked everyone for their presence. The picnic commenced with prayers led by Pius D’Cruz. Thereafter, a piping hot breakfast and tea was provided to the early birds.
Arun D’silva with the assistance of Ivan Dsouza, compered the entire day’s activities and inspired all to actively participate in various team games such as Dodge ball, throw ball, balloon race for adults, water games and Kabaddi. Also ice breakers with the action song were conducted to make the crowd more active. Antakshari, lemon race for children and couple games were organised. Also a general quiz was conducted between two teams.

Sumptuous Mangalorean lunch was provided from Al Shay Restaurant to a crowd of 90. The children who won in the games were awarded prizes. Evening tea was served with snacks.

Thereafter a tug of war was conducted to decide the final winning team. The winners were rewarded with sweets. Overall, it was a fun filled day with everybody having a good time with family and friends.
