Mysuru: Mysuru Royal Family Scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has said that the royal family was with the people of Karnataka in their fight for Cauvery water.

Addressing a gathering, Yaduveer said that Krishnaraja Wadiya IV had built the KRS dam for the sake of people so as to bring about a qualitative change in their lives and the dam has met its intentions.

“Following the water dispute, the dam has turned dry and people are in lurch. In such a situation TN demanding water is incorrect,” he said.
