Mysore(DH) :V V Puram police arrested a vehicle-lifter and recovered four two wheelers worth Rs.1.50 lakhs. The accused was identified as Yogesh alias Yogi (29) resident of Bolanahalli in Hunsur.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Inspector V Sooryanarayan. Police came across Yogesh and Ravi Chandra of Ayarahalli who were riding two wheelers in the area. But they could arrest only yogesh while ravi chandra escaped.

The police team solved one more case of vehicle theft registered in Mysore and Mandya west station.

CCB police in Lashkar police limits arrested 13 persons on the charges of gambling. In the raid police recovered various articles, including the stake amount of Rs 6,650. The other articles include 13 cell phones, three autorickshaws and a two wheeler.

The accused are – Ayub, Aslam Pasha, Aijaz Pasha, Razaq Pasha, Wasim Pasha, Rehman, Shafi, Tabraiz, Alla Baksh, Syed Muktiyar, Syed Siddiq, Mohammed Ahmed, and Mohammed Sulaiman Sait, owner of the vacant shop, where the card game was being held.
