Mysore :Curtains of ‘Geethayana-2014’, Xi-bit Talentz Spectrum, the Annual Cultural and Talents Festival of GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysore, were brought down on the Valedictory function held on 17th March 2014, at Sri M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, Mysore.

Dr. H.R.Manikarnika, senior Eye Specialist & Family Physician Mysore and Sri M.S.Parikshith, Actor Bangalore was chief guests for the valedictory function of ‘Geethayana-2014’, Xi-bit Talentz Spectrum.
Dr. H.R. Manikarnika appreciated the effort of students not only in curricular activities but also in sports & cultural activities. She also inspired the students to be energized always, which goes a long way to make the seemingly impossible task, a possible one.
M.S.Parikshith emphasized that the students must learn to value our culture and respect the parents, elders and teachers. He also stressed on the importance of being hardworking and dedicated in order to reach one’s Goal.
Prizes were given to students and staff for their excellence in various Sports and Cultural events conducted during Geethayana-2014.
Ms. A.G.Kaveramma, 2nd semester CSE, was crowned as Miss Geethayana 2014 by Smt. Vanaja B. Pandit.
Principal, Dr. P. Prakash, appreciated the work done by students and staff to make the festival a grand success.
