Mangalore, Mar 18: M.R. Vasudeva, the AAP candidate from DK Lok Sabha constituency has alleged that bigger political parties in the district were  trying to suppress the AAP through malicious propaganda.

Speaking to reporters  on March 18, Tuesday, he said “Before joining the AAP, I was with the DYFI, Congress, BJP and other organisations whenever they did some good work. It is not proper to publish false news without verifying facts,” he said.

“When I was serving the Mangalore Airport, I was co-operative with everyone. Though the BJP and the Congress had invited me to join them, I had refrained. When AAP contacted be and gave me an opportunity to contest the LS elections, I was happy. I joined the AAP as I was attracted towards its ideologies and there is no other reason,” he clarified.

He said since the past few days, some dailies were resorting to false propaganda in order to create a rift. “We are not afraid of such sort of propaganda. AAP will continue its fight against corruption and is committed to work for the development of the district,” he said.

AAP leader Dharmendra, Spokesperson Nandagopal, Rohan Shiri and others were present.
