Mysuru: CBI officials raided the provident fund office in Udayagiri on Wednesday and took two employees into their custody based on the complaints of harassment to extract money against them.

The arrested employees are Gangadhar and Thammanna.

Mysugar company employee Manohar was repeatedly harassed by the duo who wanted to extract money from him. Manohar recorded the incident in a video format without their knowledge. He submitted all the evidence to the CBI officials in Bengaluru and requested them to take action against the duo.

Based on the complaint, the CBI officials raided the office sections where the corrupt duo were functioning and collected evidence against them. Their search lasted till late night on July 19.They continued their search even on July 20 morning and took video footages where the duo resorted to unscrupulous means to extract money from many hapless employees of companies including loss making units like Mysugar.
