Mysore : Students  staged a demonstration in front of the Mysore University premises on March 14, Friday  to pressurise the authorities  to revoke the order  directing to reimburse the examination fee concession provided to  the students during the year 2013-14. It is learnt, they will now have to pay full fee even for semester exams and that only a select few will get fee reimbursement based on marks obtained and other criteria.

The agitators also said this would be a financial burden to  the students who will have to pay Rs 450 to Rs 500 for the previous semester  exams and Rs 600 to Rs 700 for the upcoming exams.

Chandrashekhar Meti, District President of AIDYO, Sandhya PS., District Secretary of AIMSS, Basavaraju, District Convenor of AIDSO and others participated in the protest.
