Vittal: A radical fire blazed at the cashew and akeshia plantation farm at Bandamugeru, Kulalu in Kolnadu on Friday, March 14 that left the farm completely annihilated.

It is learnt that the farm is jointly owned by Tukrappa Rajatadri, Abdul Khadri and Farooque that was set on fire assumingly due to a short circuit in the electrical wires that passed through the farm.

As the fire hampered the entire locality the locals called the Bantwal and Puttur fire stations for help however the assistance was delayed by the fire officials as they were already held up with a similar accident elsewhere.

Although the locals themselves tried to elude the fire but the fire had already damaged the entire farm.
