Mysuru: Here is staff nurse by profession dedicated her life for welfare of scouts and guides and tries to attract people towards scouts and guides by wearing many badges.
CVKrupa Vijai, staff nurse by profession who joined scouts and guides when she was just five year old, has dedicated her life by just involving in various activities of scouts and guides for the past three decades. For the past more than a decade, that is since she completed her nurse course she is looking after health unit of most of the scouts and guides camps including the state jamboriat and national jamboree event.
For the ongoing 17th national jamboree event she has applied leave for19 days and looking after make shift hospital which is set up at national jamboree premise. Her parents and grandparents were also in scouts and guides and served in various capacities. In most of the camps she distributes photographs of Baden Powel who is the founder of scout and guides moment.
Krupa said “I am really enjoying my stint at scouts and guides and continue to do the same. Life is not just marrying and having children. There are many instances where after getting married the family is not having happy life. Without marrying too we can led a better and happy life. I train many children who after getting training when they see me they come and talk, that’s enough, really it gives more satisfaction. Every year I groom more than four to five scouts and guides who went to receive governor or president award”. She has groomed many scouts and guides students who went on to receive governor and president award.
