Mysuru: Snake enthusiast Shyam, aptly nicknamed as Snake Sh-yam, who was recently presented Rajyotsava Award has made a documentary on snakes with the help of a local news channel.

During a programme on Saturday November 29, the documentary was released with an aim to create awareness and improve the knowledge on snakes among the people.

Shyam mainly focuses on the school and college students as his target audience for the documentary as he wants to impart the importance of snakes to the future generation. He announced a free copy of the documentary to all schools and colleges.

Shylendar assisted Shyam in making and editing the documentary. Kari Kalan DCF also addressed the gathering during the occasion.

Srinivasan of Project Tiger, Dr Santrupth and other were present.
