Sindia Opposes Taking over Admin of Sri Krishna Mutt, Gokarna Temple

Mysore: The state administration taking over the administration of Sri Krishna mutt in Udupi and Gokarna temple is not justified because it has consequences of hurting the religious sentiments of people, said JDS state president P G R Sindia.

Addressing the media persons here on Saturday May 25, Sindia said that the religious endowment department has wide varieties of task.  He cautioned the state administration not to hurt the religious sentiments of majority in a secular country, cautioned Sindia.

Its tragic that the state government is contemplating on privatizing a few government departments.  I oppose the move.  Let the government develop infrastructural facilities to tap the tourism potentials, said Sindia.

Its a hurried decision on the part of CM Siddaramaiah to supply cheap arrack that will drain the state exchequer besides cause family feuds.  CM Siddaramaiah is a veteran politician and economist who have presented budgets six times.  The state revenue can be enhanced by integral development of mining and iron ore, said Sindia.

At the backdrop of people losing trust on union government owing to price hike of essential community; the state government has to function cautiously.  The voters have given clear verdict trusting for a stable government that has to be honored.  The anti-cow slaughter Bill should be discussed in the assembly session, said Sindhia.

Its the internal issue of Congress to give him ministerial berth, said Sindia who denounced that he has not made up his mind to retire from politics.
