Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has sharply retaliated to the words of BJP State chief B S Yeddyurappa who hasr warned the CM of picketing Vidhana Soudha if he failed to efficiently handle drought situation in the state.
Former chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had said that he would mobilise over two lakh people to stage stir outside the Vidhana Soudha.
Responding to the same on Friday, Siddaramaiah, who was evidently raged, said that BSY is not the only one who has the capabilities to mobilise people or the only one who has people backing him.
“If he brings together two lakh people I can manage to get four lakh people in my support,” said the CM.
With regard to the issue of change of leadership in the state and the recent Delhi visit of former CM S M Krishna, Siddaramaiah said that SM Krishna’s Delhi visit was a personal visit, which need not be given any political colours.
