Mysuru: The Congress party faced an embarrassing moment on Saturday February 6, as veteran Congressman and former KPCC president B Janardhan Poojary asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as to what was preventing him from shunning unfit ministers from his cabinet, during a state level party meeting.

The meeting was held at Maharaja College Grounds here in connection with the upcoming Zilla and Taluk Panchayat polls.

Seemingly infuriated with this, Siddarmaiah stood up indirectly asking Poojary to stop his speech.

Poojary demanded that the CM should dethrone unfit ministers atleast for the revival of the party adding that the national party heads Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will support him in the move.

“I am at a loss to understand as to why Siddaramaiah is still showing leniency towards the ministers who do not benefit the party. The CM must remove them atleast after the Panchayat polls and reshuffle the cabinet,” he said.

It may be recalled that Poojary had recently demanded the ouster of Labour Minister and Ballari District In-Charge Minister Parameshwar Naik for transferring DySp Anupama Shenoy.
