Mysuru: With CM Siddaramaiah’s younger son Dr Yathindra making a public appearance in Mysuru on Monday, it so seems that Siddaramaiah has turned political mentor for his son and very reluctant Dr Yathindra has finally decided to become his father’s political torchbearer.
Siddaramaiah arrived in a special flight to Mysuru from Koppala and as he spoke to the reporters Dr Yathindra stood behind him. Earlier he had met local leaders in Mysuru and wanted to help his father.

Meanwhile, dodging questions on Dr Yathindra, Siddaramaiah opted to talk to reporters about major issues concerning the state, said that though there is 104 tmc water in the four reservoirs, only 50tmc can be utilised. “We need 40tmc water for drinking purpose and it is not possible to release to Tamil Nadu. We will convince therm in court about the shortage,” he said.

Responding to Amnesty row, he said that the BJP was using the issue for political gains.
