Sand lorry owners hold protest

Mysore : The sand lorry owners who are on indefinite strike in support of their several demands, staged a protest by  parking their lorries near Bogadi.

Addressing the protestors, B Revanna, President of Sand Lorry Owners Association, said  the sand lorry drivers and owners were continuously fleeced right from the process of sand mining until delivery of sand to the door steps of customers. He also alleged that the drivers and owners were fixed in false cases and harassed.

He further alleged  that cops in PCR vehicles and Garuda vehicles were harassing the drivers and owners.

Abdul Javed, Vice President of the Association, M Swami, Secretary and others were present.
