Hasan: With the aid of the police force, the officials of food supply department raided a rice mill near the BM Road and recovered about 350 Quintols of rice , which was illegally stored.

The raid took place Thursday afternoon, when the food and supply officials headed by deputy-director Rameshwar followed a hint of the illegal rice storage.

The source of the rice has still remained a mystery but it is said to be the rice meant to be distributed to people under the govt. scheme.
