Mysore : The Mysore Rakshana Vedike staged a protest on Saturday April 26 demanding the arrest of Devishree Swamiji who through  his immoral acts has hurt the religious sentiments of the people and  has proved  a bane on the society.

The Vedike activists  said though the Hindu society accorded high respect to Sadhus and  Sanths and revered them, a few have capitalised on it and were misleading the society.

The society has the onerous responsibility of putting  a brake to the  misdeeds of such  religious people, they said adding it was regrettable to note that TV channels which air programmes featuring astrologers never do the background check of the astrologers.

Demanding the immediate arrest of Devishree  Guruji, the Vedike also requested the TV channels to be responsible enough in choosing astrologers for their programmes.
