Mysuru: None other than All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi will campaign for Nikhil Kumaraswamy, the coalition candidate for the Mandya constituency, on April 13 in the K R Nagar town of the Mysuru district, part of the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency.

The idea is to send a strong message to the party activists and warring leaders in the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, who are showing a soft corner for independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh instead of Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and MLA Anitha Kumaraswamy.

Speaking to reporters, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao informed that, as part of this rally, RaGa will carry out a road show in K R Nagar, where tourism minister S R Mahesh is the MLA.

“On April 13, RaGa will also carry out rallies in Chitradurga and Kolara,” he informed.
