Bengaluru: Former Prime minister HD Deve Gowda has stated that if the leaders of both the JDS and the Congress work together, then they can win a good number of seats out of 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state. “If they fail to stay united, it will impact the result of the polls, ” he warned.

Speaking at the minorities cell event organised by the JDS and the Congress parties in Tumakuru city on Sunday evening, he stated that a former Chief Minister, ministers, MLAs, and leaders must work together. “Leaders must utilise their strength in best possible manner,” he said.

“A few media and social media platforms are claiming that only Modi can rule the country. This is false and fabricated, ” he said.

Minister for civil supplies and consumer affairs B Z Zameer Ahmed questioned as to how Modi can understand the feelings of the nation when he could not understand the feelings of his own wife.

“First let him understand his wife’s feelings. Then he can understand what the people of the country are expecting,” he said.
