Mysuru: BJP MP Prathap Simha has demanded the arrest of CM’s aide following a complaint from the Deputy Commissioner.

DC Shikha had filed a case against a close aide of the CM alleging that he had hurled abuses at her publicly over the issue of relieving a particular Tahshildar.

The MP citing the incident said that the officials are working in extremely insecure conditions under the present Congress regime.

He further said that the CM’s aide has no right to question an official of DC’s cadre and felt there is no protection from the government for common people. He also said that Women’s commission has not even made a mention about the incident and the administration has not taken any action even after 15 hours.

“It will not be surprise if the DC is transferred in the near future,” he said.

It may be recalled that CM’s aide Marigowda along with 30 men had abused the deputy commissioner soon after the CM left the government guest house to attend an Ifthar party in the city on July 3. The DC missed the CM’s cavalcade due to the issue, but instead of catching up she straight away headed to Nazarbad police station and lodged a complaint against Marigowda.
