Mangaluru: City Crime Branch Inspector Valentine D’Souza has been transferred along with some other senior police officers of the region. Sunil Y Nayak from Kaup has been posted as the CCB inspector, while D’Souza’s new posting is yet to be announced.

ACP Tilak Chandra, who was heading the sensational Vinayak Baliga murder case, has been transferred to traffic sub-division, while ACP Udaya Nayak has been transferred to City Central sub-division.

Bantwal Town Police inspector, Belliappa is posted to Pandeshwar Police station in Mangaluru.

Inspectors Ananth Padmanabha and Ramchandra Nayak, have been posted respectively to Mulky and Moodbidri, while Arun Bommayya Nayak from Brahmavar takes charge of Mescom Vigilance Police station in Mangaluru and Konaje station inspector Raghava Padil has been posted to Byndoor.
