Mysuru: Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Mysuru scion celebrated Independence Day in a unique and meaningful way. He kick started ‘Freedom Drive’, a campaign with a caption ‘Freedom through Education’ here on August 15 at Lalitha Mahal helipad.
Speaking on the occasion, Yaduveer said, “The sole purpose of the drive is to create awareness among the public about education,which can be a means to freedom.”

“Education plays an vital role in the development of any country.  Education transforms the children and a family thereby entire society. I am proud that Round Table India(RTI) and Ladies Circle India(LCI) have taken up the initiative of speading awareness among the public about importance of education through this campaign.”

The programme concluded with flag hoisting ceremony.
