Mysore : Activists of the Mysore  Kannada Vedike organised a protest   near the Mahatma Gandhi statue  in front of the  Court building   condemning the “Anti-Kannada” stance of Prof. Ramarajashekharan, Director of CFTRI.

The protestors alleged that though the CFTRI was  progressing using the state’s resources, its director was pursing an anti-Kannada policy by  not  permitting the celebration of Rajyotsava in the institute.

They said the protest should serve as a warning bell to officials who  adopt an anti-Kannada policy. They even demanded withdrawal of cases and release of Kannada activists who have been booked in connection with the recent incident wherein they smeared black on the face of the CFTRI  Director.

S Balakrishna, President of the Vedike, Ravi, Suresh and others participated in the protest.
