Mysuru: Minister for Public works H C Mahadevappa is likely to remain in the hospital during his son’s wedding reception this evening as he is recuperating at Apollo Hospital in Mysuru.

The minister’s second son Anil Bose’s wedding reception will be taking place at exhibition grounds today. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is likely to attend the ceremony along with many other ministers and prominent people. The minister was admitted to Apollo hospital when he complained of fever, high blood pressure and problems associated with diabetes.

The chief minister is likely to visit Apollo hospital to inquire about the health condition of his close cabinet colleague this evening. It is well known in political circles that Mahadevappa is a close confidant of the chief minister.
