Madikeri : Kodagu District Deputy Commissioner Anurag Tiwari convened a meeting  here  on September 10, Tuesday  to  discuss the arrangements to be made for grand celebrations of Madikeri Dasara this year. Office bearers of various Dasara sub-committees participated in the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner   emphasized the need to launch a website so that the information pertaining to Madikeri Dasara  reaches people not only Madikeri people, but also people of various parts of the nation and across the globe. The website should update information on the various programmes  to be held as part of Madikeri Dasara, he said.

The DC also  directed the officials concerned to prepare a logo for Madikeri Dasara which, he said  would be released by the District minister. He further stressed the need to launch  publicity initiatives  for Madikeri Dasara and ensure that the festival is organised successfully.
