Mysore: Street vendors selling vegetables and other  goods  on roadside at Nanjumalige were evicted by a team of officials led by  Shivaramu, Town Development Officer of Mysore City Corporation Zone 2 on Tuesday July 15.

Several street vendors had engaged in business on either sides of the road here since some time, causing inconvenience to free movement of pedestrians.

The  eviction drive  was launched early in the morning and illegal shops right from Nanjumalige Circle to the Gopalaswamy Shishu Vihara Road were evicted.

Assistant Engineer Kumar, Health officer Shanker and other MCC staff were part of the operation.
