Mysuru: Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar and Sir M Vishweshwaraiah’s contribution to Mysuru and Mandya is immense said said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

He was speaking at the Diamond Jubilee function of Mandya District. “In 1939 Mandya was considered as a separate district and Mandya has produced many legends in all areas, like Politics, Literature, cinema and so on but there are many things which should be improved in coming days. In order to achieve we all should work together”, he averred.

He felicitated achievers from Mandya district.

District in-charge and revenue minister Srinivas Prasad said “the foresight of Krishnaraja Wodeyar is the reason why Mysuru and Mandya farmers are happy till today”.
