Mysore : A man along with his three children met a watery grave when the scooter in which he was  riding  went off guard and the three fell into the Varuna river here on November 18, Monday. The incident took place near Mesabayana Halli. The deceased are Mahadeva (40), his children Prameela (11), Prajwal(11) and Madesha (8). Meanwhile, locals have a strong suspicion that  this might be  a case of accidental death or murder.

It is learnt,  there was a discord between Mahadeva and his wife and that Mahadeva was attacked by his wife’s family over the issue. If Mahadeva’s family is arguing that this is a murder, some others say this might be a case of suicide.

The bodies have been retrieved and the Mysore rural police are investigating the case.
