Moodbidri: Owing to the laxity of nurse in Moodbidri government hospital, malaria patient suffered intense hand pain.
Dinesh, an autorickshaw driver and resident of Mastikatte, got admitted to hospital on November 12, for treatment of malaria.
It is learnt that he was not provided proper treatment and a nurse had even removed the drips needle forcibly resulting in pain in his hands.

When pain increased, on suggestion of doctors, patient got shifted to a private hospital at Mangalore.
Meanwhile, the family of Dinesh is planning to lodge a complaint with department of health.
Moreover, UT Khader, Minister for Health, was irked with the lack of staff inside the hospital except a nurse.
Locals are questioning on the slackness of hospital after minister’s visit.
