Mysuru: An illicit relationship resulted in a husband killing his wife’s paramour and then surrendering to police along with all his accomplices.

The deceased has been identified as Channakeshava (45), a resident of Halagur village in Periyapatana Taluk.

Tara was married to Thirthachari ten years ago. She developed an illicit relation with Channakeshava. When the husband came to know about their relationship, he along with his friends hatched a plan to kill his wife’s paramour. Accordingly, they attacked Channakeshava with lethal weapons when he returned home and killed him. Then they packed his body in a gunny bag and dropped it in Harangi dam canal near Hebbale village in Somawarpet taluk. After committing the murder, Thirthachari along with his accomplices Yogachari, Ramachari, Kaalachari and Jayanna surrendered to Bettadapura police of Periyaptana taluk.

Bettadapura police have registered a case and are investigating.
