Mysuru: Ananya M Bhat of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala has scored 624/625 and emerged as the second topper in the SSLC examination held during March 2016 in the state after revaluation. Earlier, she had scored 615/625.

Though Ananya had secured centum in Sanskrit, Kannada and Science and 99 marks in Mathematics, she was not happy with the marks she scored in Social Science and English. She got 92 in Social Science and 99 in English. She applied for revaluation for the two subjects, through which she managed to get justice and got centum in Social Science (8 marks more) and English (One mark more), which took her overall tally to 624 from 615 marks which enabled her to emerge topper in the district and second in the State. She is the daughter of Mohan Das B and Kavitha Mohan of Ramakrishnanagar.
Ananya sharing her joy said, “I am happy that I got the deserving marks after revaluation. I want to dedicate this to my parents and to all my teachers. Through movies and newspapers I came to know that many women are suffering a lot in rural areas. They are not much aware about various health complications. After going through these reports, I decided to become a Gynecologist and help women to overcome those problems”.
