Newskarnataka – Mysore
Mysore: The man-eater tiger was captured by the Forest Department on Thursday December 5.
The captured animal is assumed to be the same predator that killed three persons in the last few days in Mysore district. A team of experts tranquilized, netted and caged the tiger after the animal was spotted near a valley early Thursday afternoon.
It is learnt that the tiger with an injured front paw was just 100 metres from the area where it had left its third human victim.
