Madikeri:The Dasara celebrations in Madikeri concluded with a colorful procession by silting of plantain pulp.

The tableaus depicting the mythological episodes transpired the viewers to heavenly world.  The visitors of across the state and neighbouring states arrived in large numbers to witness the historical Dasara celebrations in the city.

The folk-art groups accompanied by traditional musicians enthralled the viewers who also danced merrily to the tunes.

The grand procession began from Sri Ram mandir preceded to Sri Choutimariyamma temple, Kundurumotte, where puja offerings were held. The idols of goddesses who were believed to be power centers were taken in procession along the streets and the celebrations were concluded by silting of plantain pulp.
