Mysuru: In yet another case of sexual harassment, a lady conductor has lodged a complaint with the police against her immediate boss seeking action against him.

In her complaint conductor P Bharati has accused her immediate boss Maksood Ahmed, Transport officer in ITS division of tormenting her sexually over a period of time. Her husband Anil Kumar accompanied her while lodging the complaint with the police where she provided the audio recording which exposed Maksood Ahmed’s lusty behavior.

Narrating the whole scenario she said that she has been working with the state transport department since 10 years. Due to her illness, she had sought transfer to the technical division. She was transferred eight months back to the ITS division where Maksood was her superior. According to her, Maksood used to harass her adopting various ways like touching her hands without reason while signing files, place his hands over her shoulders, send explicit sexual messages, make lewd calls and getting into her personal issues and forcing her to accompany him. In addition, he tried to lure her with money and assured her of comforts if she gets involved in an extra-marital relationship with him, she said.

Devaraj police have registered a case against the accused who is absconding.
