Kodagu: The 9th annual JC Auto Cross bike rally conducted by JCI Ponnampete Golden was held at the paddy fields of Thithira, Ittira, Ipumada, Chendira and Chekkera families.  As many as 64 participants from various parts of the country showed their talent in Coorg Open Class, Two Stroke Open, Four Stroke Open, Indian Expert, and Expert Class competitions.

Due to heavy rain fall, the organizers cancelled the four wheeler competition. As many as 60 drivers came to the spot with their four wheelers to participate in the event and but had to return disappointed.
 
Kumar Chandra, DYSP inaugurated the event. Koniyanda Sanju Somaiah, President, MB Bopanna, Secretary, Ponnampete Golden and others were present on the occasion.   
 
Sharuk Khan won first prize followed by BS Manjunath, Nihal Khan second and third places under Coorg Open Class competitions.
 
In the  ‘Two Stroke category,’ competitors, Nihal Khan, Rakesh, Sharuk Khan won first, second and third prizes while AS Naresh, B Nataraj, Sohel Ahmed won first, second and third places under Four Stroke Category.
 
Sohel Ahmed, US Natesh, B Nataraj won first, second and third places under ‘Expert Class,’ whereas VS Navaneeth, R Nataraj and Sohel Ahmed succeeded in winning the first, second and third prizes in the Indian Expert category.
