Somavarapete: N Ranjita, daughter of Nagaraju and Jayamma couple residing at Bajegundi village, near here and I B Com student of Alvas College, Moodbidri qualified to compete in national wrestling competitions after winning inter-collegiate competitions in Mangalore.

Ranjita, sportswoman from Kodagu district won in inter-collegiate wrestling competitions under 51 kilograms category at Rosario College, Mangalore, thereby qualified to compete in national competitions scheduled to be held in Meerut in October.

Ranjita had done her primary and high school studies at Sandipani English Medium School and studying in I B Com at Alvas College, Moodbidri.
