JDS begins preparations for LS elections from Mangalore

Mangalore:The former prime minister and national president of JDS party Shi. HD Devegoda said that the state JDS has started the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Mangalore.

He was addressing  the media in the press meet held in the circuit house of the city.

He said even though Karavali has been the region of Kraravali has been the back-bone of BJP and congress we have selected this region to boost the confidence of our party workers in the district. In the past the party workers of the district have toiled for the party and now the time has come for the party to respond to them and yesterday a meeting of all the party workers across the district was called in Hotel Moti Mahal for the same.

He also said that Mangalore has been supporting the party, since the people of this region have elected 3 MLA’s in the past.He informed that by the end of October, the JD(S) will finalize its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Coalition Govt. with congress is the biggest blunder that the party committed:

Shri. Devegowda said that forming Coalition Govt. with the congress was the biggest blunder that the party committed when comparing to the formation the Govt. with BJP and he quoted that both the parties have tried to destroy JD(S).

First visit of the new JDS prez.
The newly appointed state JDS president Shri A Krishnappa is on his first visit to Mangalore. The ex-minister has visited the district as observer of the Congress party and he quoted the same in today’s press meet.

The new state Prez. said that the future of the country lies in the third front. The congress has been responsible for the attrocities in the country and even the BJP has failed to respond to the plea’s of the people.

Quoting the words by Ratan Tata he said that the situation has come that we should live in the fear of our neighbouring countries since the Govt. is sitting quite watching the encroachments along the border from China and Pakistan.

JD(S) leaders M B Sadashiv, Sushil Noronha, Ratnakar Suvarna, D Dhanraj and others were present at the occasion.
