Mysuru: Economics and Public Administration Dept and Indian Social Science Academy organised a seminar here on Friday at which Prof N P Chaube of the Indian Science Academy opined that Indian development depends on the development of science.

“India has good human resources, which other countries do not have and youth should and can involve themselves in research which can get them recognition. Many science researchers have won the Noble prize”, he added.

Research projects should be submitted in English rather than in the regional languages because Regional languages will not be helpful to all in understanding the things in the research, he said.

Prof Muzaffar Assadi, Economics, M N Palani, Rtd Professor, JNU Delhi, Prof K S Rangappa, Vice Chancellor University of Mysore, C Basavaraju, Registrar of University of Mysore were also present.
