Mysore : Acting swiftly, district police have solved a murder case within 24 hours on Monday. This is sixth murdered case to be uncovered within a day after the incidents in K R Nagar in the last six months.
In the latest case, two relatives including elder brother was involved in the murder of Ahamed Sheriff (27), a daily wage worker who was found brutally murdered in K R Nagara town on June 30. The murderers burned his body using petrol after smashing his head with a boulder.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that Ahameds elder brother Sikander Sheriff (32) and his brother in-law Muneer Sheriff had given contract to Nasir (27) to eliminate him. The accused have claimed Ahamed was troubling his mother Saleema Banu for money lately which became the motive behind the murder.
