Mandya: Not everything is fine in district Congress once again. The discord in district Congress was lying as ash covered on burning coal flared up in front of state leaders.
The supporters of district-in-charge minister Ambarish and district Congress president M S Atmanand hurled chairs in front of KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar.
Dr Parameshwar has called a press meet at Haripriya Hotel, in order to give information on UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhis visit to Mandya town on September 30.
When Dr Parameshwar arrived at the venue, Congress leaders and other activists also gathered. When the numbers increased, Parameshwar advised the gathering to vacate the place except the media persons.However, none of the Congressmen heeded to his advice.
T S Satyanand, the district Congress spokesperson and supporter of Atmanand was urging the Congress leaders to vacate the place, Rafiulla, the supporter of minister Ambarish demanded Satyanand also joins them outside.
Meanwhile, Ambarish supports Amaravati Chandrashekar, Beloor Somashekar, Hanakere Sasi Satyanand, joined Rafiulla and manhandled Ravindra Srikantayya supporter ZP former member Manjunat to come out. The chairs were hurled among them and chaos prevailed at the press meet, but Parameshwar sat there as a mute spectator.
At the sideline of this incidence, Parameshwar said that the district Congressmen are in great enthusiasm that will be set right in the coming days, said Parameshwar.
