Mysuru: The bail plea filed by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) member K Marigowda has been postponed to Tuesday, July 12 by the seventh additional district court.
Soon after complaint was registered by the DC at Nazarabad police station against Marigowda, his counsel C Nagaraju filed bail petitions in the court. On Friday, Judge Chandrashekar, who heard the petition on Friday, had directed public prosecutor Mahanthappa to file objection to the bail petition and postponed the hearing to Monday.
Marigowda is accused for allegedly preventing DC C Shikha from discharging her duty at government guest house on last Sunday. Since then he is at large.
In the meantime, manhunt is on for the absconding leader.
