CM Siddaramaiah accorded Grand Welcome at K R Nagar

K R Nagar:The Congress party activists accorded grand welcome to CM Siddaramaiah when he arrived here on Tuesday October 8.

The leaders of taluk Congress including party activists welcomed CM Siddaramaiah, at municipal building, when he was going to district center to convene progress review meeting.They honored CM siddaramaiah,in traditional customs.

The veteran Congress leader Doddaswame Gowda presented a memorandum to CM Siddaramaiah seeking more funds for development of taluk. CM Siddaramaiah offered assurances of granting state funds for executing essential development works in the taluk.

The taluk sugarcane growers Union president Sunaya Gowda also offered a memorandum urging state authorities to revive Sri Rama Co-operative Sugar Factory in Chunchanakatte, which has stopped functioning since 20 months.

The policemen had a tough time controlling the people who wanted to see CM .The traffic was hindered for nearly an hour.
