Mysore:Chief Minister Siddaramaiah released the  world famous Mysore Dasara Poster and Gold Card  at a function held at Lalith Mahal.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said the government has sanctioned a grant of Rs 10 crore  for the Mysore Dasara and added Rs 6 crore has already been released. The balance amount would be released shortly, he informed.

A sum of Rs 19 crore has been released separately for the repair of the roads of the city which are in a bad state, Siddaramaiah informed.

The CM said his China tour was fruitful and added  the tour helped in gaining much information on the benefits of Food Security Act. He said several entrepreneurs have evinced interest in investing in Karnataka.

V Srinivas Prasad, District in-charge Minister, Dr Mahadevappa, PWD Minister, MLAs Vasu, GT  Deve Gowda, MK Somashekhar, Mysore Mayor Rajeshwari and  Deputy Commissioner Shikha were also present.
