CM promises Health City in Mysore

Mysore: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has assured to develop a Health City in Mysore   in order to ensure quality medical treatment for the poor.

He was  speaking after laying foundation for the 350 bed Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research at the PKTB Sanitorium Hospital premises in the city on February 23, Sunday.  The CM assured that the Health City will come up in the next four year period.

He also informed that  super speciality hospital  has been sanctioned for Mysore considering the growing need for health care facilities in the  city.

The Chief Minister further hinted at  the plans to renovate the K.R. Hospital and upgrade facilities at the hospital.

Sharan Prakash Patil, Medical Education Minister, Dr Manjunath, Director of Jayadeva Hospital and others were present.
