Gundlupete: A man was recently taken into custody by the flying squad for transporting cash without proper documents during the election season.

The man has been identified as Salim Pasha, a resident of the city.

During a search of the man, flying squad officer Krishnappa found a sum of Rs 1,34,500 in cash with him.

A case has been registered with the local police in this regard.
