
Bengaluru: The Commercial Street police have issued a notice to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, DCM Dr G Parameshwara and other leaders, for staging a protest in front of the Income Tax office on March 28.
According to sources, the notice was served on the direction of the office of the Banasawadi ACP and all the leaders have been given seven days time to reply.
The notice has been served based on a complaint lodged by a flying squad officer by the name Rajashekhar and the IT commissioner (Karnataka and Goa circle) Balakrishna.
It can be recalled that CM H D Kumaraswamy, DCM G Parameshwara and others held a protest in front of the IT office on March 28 against the IT raids in Hassan, Mandya, Mysuru and Shivamogga. They alleged that it was politically motivated.
