Mandya district Congress leaders finally agree to joint campaign

Mandya: Congress leaders from the Mandya district have finally agreed to a joint campaign with the JDS leaders. KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao succeeded in convincing the leaders after an hour-long meeting with the leaders.

According to sources in the Congress, all the party leaders from Mandya including former minister N Cheluvaraya Swamy, Narendra Swamy and Ramesh Bandi Siddegowda, agreed to join the JDS-Congress joint campaign scheduled to start on Friday.

It can be recalled that former CM Siddaramaiah and former prime minister H D Devegowda are scheduled to campaign across the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency on Friday afternoon.
