Yalanduru : Two employees of the Revenue Department were trapped red handed  by the Lokayukta sleuths while they were accepting bribe at the Tahsildar’s office on March 28, Friday.

Those trapped are K Mamatha, a second division assistant and NL Anand, computer operator.

It is learnt, they had demanded a  bribe of Rs 1000 from  one Veerendra Prasad of Komaranapura for Khatha Transfer. Veerendra had lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta police in this regard.

The raid was conducted as per the directions of Lokayukta DySP  Nataraj.The trapped duo were produced before the District Court.

Lokayukta  SIs Gopikrishna, Kyategowda and others were part of the operation.
